What peels are available?
We offer two of the newest and most popular chemical peels on the market. The Vitalize Peel® is SkinMedica®’s most popular peel. Suitable for all skin types, it is a blend of Salicylic Acid, Lactic Acid, Resorcinol, Panthenol, and Isoceteth-20 with the addition of .3% Retinoic Acid. This peel requires little to no downtime and can brighten the skin and address mild skin concerns. The Vitalize Peel helps fight the effects of time, sun damage, and environmental assaults. This powerful yet non-damaging peel can take years off aging skin.
The Rejuvenize Peel™ is another option from SkinMedica to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles with a series of three to six peels. The Rejuvenize Peel is best for moderate to severe skin concerns using a blend of Salicylic Acid, Mandelic Acid, Resorcinol, Malic Acid, Phytic Acid, Panthenol, and Quilaja Saponaria Bark Extract. After this peel, you’ll experience some mile peeling and flaking.
What can I expect after a peel?
You will have noticeable improvement with just one peel. However, more significant results are obtained with a series of peels performed every few weeks. After a peel, our cosmetic specialists can recommend the right products to use on your skin as it recovers. You can expect some mild redness and peeling in the days following, depending on the depth and extent of your peel.
