David L. Parver, MD
Dr. David Parver received his degree from the Sackler School of Medicine in Tel Aviv University. He completed in an internship in Internal Medicine at the John Hopkins-Sinai Hospital program in Baltimore Maryland. Following his internship, he completed a three year residency in Ophthalmology and two year fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Parver has authored multiple articles and abstracts in peer reviewed literature, as well as a textbook chapter on retina disease. Dr. Parver has presented research on diseases of the retina and vitreous and uveitis at national ophthalmology conferences and lectures throughout the Washington DC metropolitan Ophthalmological Society. He holds teaching appointments at Georgetown University and the Washington Hospital center.
Dr. Parver’s real passion, however, is spending time with his wife Maya and two daughters Noa and Talia. He helps coach his daughters’ soccer team, enjoys running, and takes every chance he can to be rink side watching his favorite sports team, the Washington Capitals.
