Dysport

Botulinumtoxin type A has been in use as a cosmetic and medical treatment for many decades. Like Botox®, Dysport® is an injectable treatment that can effectively treat other types of muscle spasms and reduce signs of aging due to wrinkles. It accomplishes this through a quick and easy injection session that can be performed on many different areas of the face.

What is Dysport?

Dysport is made with a special, diluted form of botulinumtoxin type A which is effective at blocking chemical signals from the brain to muscles in the face and body. This can prevent muscle movements that cause folds and wrinkles over time, as well as unwanted muscle spasms. This process is called neuromodulation and is extremely effective at safe levels. With cosmetic treatment, this technique can smooth skin and relax tensed muscles that cause creases and wrinkles in different areas of the face.

“ Dr. Anh and Layla have been great throughout the years. We have been using them regularly for Botox and Fillers and they are wonderful. They have a great "eye" for natural enhancements. You won't feel pressured and will always look naturally beautiful! ”

What results can I expect?

Dysport produces visible results sooner than Botox, but can last between three to six months, depending on the patient and other factors. Immediately after the injection session, most patients experience some minor redness and swelling at the injection site, but this subsides quickly. After the effects of Dysport begin to fade, patients can opt for retreatment. Dysport can also be used at the same time as dermal filler options for even better results.
