Botox

What is Botox?
Botox blocks nerve impulses to the facial muscles that control expressions through a process called neuromodulation. This process relaxes the muscles so they do not contract. The result is that the overlying skin remains smoother and unwrinkled.
What results can I expect?
After a Botox injection treatment, full results can be seen within one week. Most patients experience some minor redness and swelling at the injection site, which goes away quickly. Botox can last for three months or longer, after which repeat treatments can be performed. Botox can be used at the same time as other injectable options like hyaluronic acid fillers for even better results.
