LASIK Eye Surgery is one of the most well-known and popular vision correction treatments in the US. This surgery can be used to treat nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism with many patients achieving 20/25 vision or better. To be a candidate for LASIK surgery, you must be in generally good health with no previous eye injury or disease. You also have to be older than eighteen and not currently pregnant or nursing. During the procedure, your surgeon will create a thin, circular opening on the cornea and use a laser to reshape the inner layers of the cornea.
Common cornea problems include dry eye, Fuch’s Dystrophy, pterygium, keratitis, keratoconus, and amll injuries such as scratching. The following treatments can alleviate these cornea problems.
Annandale received its name from the Scottish settler who founded the community in 1830; Annan is a town in Scotland. Annandale has a population of 43,363 people and is the fourth best city to live in Virginia so there are many families living in the neighborhoods and suburbs of Annandale. Although the town has been around for almost 150 years, it is still growing and represents a young, vibrant crowd. Located about 30 minutes from Washington D.C. on the other side of the Potomac River, Annandale is the unofficial Koreatown of Washington D.C. because of its many ethnic Korean restaurants and shops. However, this city also hosts a diverse population of many other ethnicities and a younger crowd who frequent the many places available to drink.
